A Philly Philms production, The Palestra: Cathedral of Basketball provides a vivid history of the most storied college basketball venue in NCAA history, The Palestra. Through interviewing past players (Corky Calhoun), coaches (John Chaney and Jack Ramsay), and local media (Harry Kalas and Dick "Hoops" Weiss) writer and director Mikaelyn Austin paints a deeply moving picture of what is was like playing and watching a game at The Palestra.

Donovan McNabb Ahead of Schedule

Donovan McNabb took part in non-contact drills Monday with the Eagles 1st team offense. This is a shock too many considering the severity of his injury. Donovan tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee last Nov. 19 in a game against the Tennessee Titans. McNabb wasn't scheduled to begin practicing for several more weeks. This is great news for Philadelphia Eagles fans but many, like myself, are wondering whether McNabb is rushing himself due to the Eagles pick of Kevin Kolb in this year's NFL Draft. McNabb was having a MVP type season last year prior to his injury and many wonder whether the now 30 year old quarterback is going to be same. Only time will tell but for a championship starved town like Philadelphia we need immediate satisfaction and McNabb's injuries are becoming a nuisance.
