The Anaheim Ducks become the first West Coast, NHL team to win the Stanley Cup by beating the Ottawa Senators last night. The 6-2, Game 5 victory was clinched on their home ice, improving their home record during these playoffs to an impressive 10-2. Led by the proven J.S. Giguere, their netminder, the Ducks limited the Senators to only 18 shots for the game. The Conn Smythe Award for the Stanley Cup MVP went to Anaheim's Captain Scott Niedermayer. He becomes the only active player to win four Stanley Cups. Congrats Quackers.
